Powered by Jeep's dependable 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine paired with a desirable 5-speed manual transmission, this Wrangler delivers the simple, rugged driving experience that has made the TJ one of the most sought-after Wrangler generations. The legendary Command-Trac 4WD system provides excellent traction on trails, sand, mud, and rough terrain while remaining perfectly capable as a fun weekend cruiser or daily driver.

With 166,000 miles, this Wrangler has already proven its durability. The TJ generation is widely respected among Jeep enthusiasts for its rugged construction, solid axles, and easy-to-maintain mechanical design. These Jeeps continue to have a loyal following because of their simplicity, aftermarket support, and ability to handle years of use both on and off the pavement.

This Wrangler comes equipped with several features that make it especially appealing to outdoor enthusiasts, including a front-mounted winch that's ready for trail use, recovery situations, or off-road adventures. The tan soft top gives you the classic open-air Jeep experience, allowing you to enjoy sunny days with the top down while still providing protection when the weather turns. Inside, the tan interior is straightforward, functional, and easy to maintain after a day on the trails.

On the road, this Wrangler runs and drives well and offers the unmistakable character that only a Jeep can provide. Whether you're looking for a beach cruiser, hunting vehicle, trail toy, camping companion, or a platform for future modifications, this Jeep is ready for the job. Its compact size and true four-wheel-drive capability make it equally comfortable exploring back roads and navigating tight trails.

For full transparency, the vehicle will need a transmission crossmember. However, it currently runs and drives fine, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to get into a Wrangler without spending a fortune. With the issue already reflected in the asking price, there's plenty of value here for a handy owner, off-road enthusiast, or Jeep fan looking for an affordable project that can be enjoyed immediately.

Priced at just $2,999, this Wrangler represents one of the most affordable ways to own a true body-on-frame 4x4 with a manual transmission, removable soft top, and winch already installed. Clean TJ Wranglers continue to be highly sought after, and finding one at this price point is becoming increasingly rare.
