2000 BMW 5 Series

Freshly listed and ready to hit the road is this classic and increasingly sought-after 2000 BMW 540i Sedan, finished in a timeless silver exterior over a black leather interior. This is a true driver’s car that represents the golden era of BMW engineering—where performance, luxury, and build quality came together in a way that’s hard to replicate today.

Under the hood, this 540i is powered by a robust 4.4L V8 engine paired with a rear-wheel-drive drivetrain, delivering smooth, confident power with that unmistakable BMW driving feel. Whether you're merging onto the highway or cruising through city streets, the V8 provides strong acceleration while maintaining a refined, composed ride. The chassis is well-balanced and responsive, making it just as enjoyable for spirited driving as it is for comfortable daily commuting.

Inside, the cabin features premium black leather seating, genuine wood trim accents, and the solid, driver-focused layout BMW is known for. This model came well-equipped from the factory, typically including power-adjustable front seats with memory, dual-zone automatic climate control, a premium sound system, and a power sunroof. Everything is designed with both comfort and functionality in mind, making it a great option for daily driving, long-distance cruising, or even as a weekend enthusiast vehicle.

With 146,000 miles, this 540i has been driven an average amount for its age, and these V8 BMWs are known for their longevity when properly maintained. The mileage reflects real-world usability while still offering plenty of life for the next owner, especially for someone who appreciates a well-built European sedan with character and performance.

At just $1,999, this BMW 540i represents exceptional value. Comparable V8 luxury sedans—especially ones with this level of driving engagement—are becoming harder to find at this price point. You're getting a powerful, comfortable, and iconic sport sedan for a fraction of its original cost.
